HELL

The past two weeks have been hell on my emotions.

This month marks the one year anniversary of “us”

I thought time would help and heal the wounds.

Then out of the blue-you are there-in my memory.

I see that familiar smile, the sparkle in your eyes,

And your infectious laugh that still haunts me to this day.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
