HOPE-LOSS

what is ‘Hope-loss’? it is what is felt when one’s hopes have been destroyed, when suffering occurs and one looks for other things to fill the void of what they were once hopeful about,
it is screaming out loud that one’s hope has run out!!
it’s looking here and there but finding nowhere to hang your dream
so it goes to the waste side, never to be seen,

Hope-loss is what many of our people incurred
when their dreams of freedom where destroyed right in front of their eyes, watching brother, mother’s father’s die due to the color of their skin,
Hope-loss is the state this country’s in…
jobs disappearing while pregnant teens are fearing they will never cut it in this world with a kid
performing self abortions
through drug inducing doses
then committing suicide for what they did…

Hope-loss is the definition of the pain a woman who’s been cheated on sustains,
it’s the anger that produces rage that eventually leads to murder cause the heart she gave
became a piece of a game
and the players are now six feet under!

Hope-loss is not to be confused with Hopeless cause less still means it exists,
loss means that suffering has occurred, CASUALTIES ARE present, its dark and it’s cold and the weak are unable to stand it,
their Hope is loss, and there’s no way to regain it,
and if you don’t check out, you have no choice but to sustain it..
it is the bottom of the pit’s bottom
the place you can’t afford to be,
Hope-loss is the end of ones soul..
that’s why.. it will never.. be me!!!
