    I AM AN EXAMPLE

    I CAN'T GET ADDICTED IS WHAT I USED TO SAY,
    I CAN DO ANY DRUG AND THEN JUST WALK AWAY,
    I CAN GO TO ANY BAR AND ONLY DRINK JUST ONE,
    BACK WHEN I WAS SOBER AND STILL HAD FUN,
    YEAH MAYBE AT FIRST THIS WAS ME,
    HEADING DOWN A ROAD WHERE I COULDN'T SEE,
    ONLY IF WE KNEW WHAT CAME ALONG NEXT,
    I AM AN EXAMPLE OF A LIFE IT HAS HEXTED.

    Short and sweet, right to the point. Although the great thing about being human is that you have a choice. Just know that whatever path you choose, we all make our own graves, it's just a matter of how deep you want to dig! Great poem.
