I am Light in the Lord

I am light in the Lord

I shine amazingly bright

Reaching each corner and nook

I can’t help spread through the night

I force all people to look

I roam through the dimness

To where I can’t see a thing

Because where there is no light

Is where people strive to see

I will wander in darkness

My light won’t be ignored

But instead it will bring warmth

To all those who have no hope.

I will fight to wake the sleeping

And help them arise from the dead

‘Cuz till then the Lord promises

To permit them to shine ahead.

My light will shine vividly

By my faith it is sustained

As long as He is with me

My dear Lord will be my aid.
