Who am I to Judge?

Who am I to Judge?

I dare judge my own brother

And don’t know why I bother,

To make certain assumptions

Of each and single action

And come up with conclusions

Of long existing fusions,

that make sense to only me

but I’ve made sure their out to see.

While he stands there hurting deep

All his feelings form a heap

knowing all eyes are on him

he can’t help but hold his whim,

to storm out, shut out the world

Flaring unjustly to unfurl.

My judgment stands adverse

I managed to make it worse.

It so easy to condemn

Though my actions hold a hem.

I will too be judged one day

Very likely the same way.

I decide to say no more

And to throw my thoughts offshore

I will let him live his life

And I’ll try to better mine.

Because only He is fit

Just and worthy to transmit

Only He is without sin

Only He knows him within

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
