I ask you now
You came to me againwith a question in your heart
telling me what's wrong
in your life at that point in time
You shared with me
a secret deep
and opened yourself
to love's disappointment and pain
Your question still
after all I say and do
'will I let you go
again as I did last
when we were thru'
I ask you now
as I last did not
to be mine forever
and thicken the plot
