I cry to You today

My God, I cry to you today...
I am down..and I'm lost within the darkness..
Those around me can not see..
those I love can not see..
It is here..it is overwhelming..
My breath is hampered by the thickness of darkness.
My heart is racing..and searching for life..
My hands are shaking..my body feels numb..
I cry to you today..Lord, Help Me!
I realize now that I have surrounded myself with darkness..
They criticized, it brought darkness.
They judged...allowing darkness to dwell.
The prince has smiled coyly..knowing full well what has gone on.
He is a prince of darkness, and with each ungodly word, he came.
With each ungodly act, His darkness evolved.
I didn't know Lord, that I was here.
I cry to you today, O Father, free me now.
Remove this blindness..remove this mask of pain.
I shall rejoice in the Lord, for all that is good is upon my doorstep.
It is here, it is within, it is for me.
I shall rejoice out of this bondage and stronghold..
I shall declare His victory at all times..
As there, before me, is the light..
The light of the Lord, the life of Jesus Christ.
I cry to you, O God...lift me, fill me..and bless me...
Abundantly..
I cry out to You..my Lord...
I cry...
And receive...and heal!

When you cry out to God, he will hear you. I love that peace. I hope you keep the faith.

King David's psalms are filled with this Divine theme---The darkness and despair of Life---yet the Lord breaks through the despair and pours out great joy and rejoicing and His Own Light to lift us into His presence. Like a fresh drink of water, very sweetly written

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
