    I Don't Care

    I don't care who's right
    I don't give a damn who's wrong.
I don't know if we fit,
I don't know how we belong.
All I know is it hurt,
    To know you were unable,
To trust me and my word.
    I don't know if there's a lable
Or a guide to how I feel
And how I'm supposed to deal.
    I have enough to do
Without worrying abou my feelings for you.
    I'm pregnant and alone,
But that didn't stop me from trying,
But it is what has stopped me from crying.
    I don't need more emotions
    I don't need someone who can't trust
    I you really loved me
    I wouldn't feel this way
    I'd be happy,
    We'd be together
And life would fall into play.
    But you don't love me,
    How could you,
    If you can't even understand
    What I'm going through?
I should have known it was all a game,
    Men are always the same.
You say what I want to hear,
Then you make things so unclear.
    I don't hate you,
But I do hate what you did.
    You don't understand,
My heart has been hurt like this before,
I should have just closed the door.
Telling you how I felt was a mistake,
How was I to know one little problem is all it takes?
    You can't handle me,
You probably don't even like what you see.
You can't deal with my emotions,
You don't know how to deal with your own.
    Talk to me again,
When you step down off that throne

Hindsight's a wonderful teacher it's priceless and expensive at the same time, it seems Your emotion is powerful and raw. Your poem's heavy and deep. I liked it. Thanks for sharing.......

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
