Takes Time
It took me a while to realize
What I did was wrong
That I still loved you,
And you waited so long.
But then you broke my heart,
And made me hate my friend.
So now I'll give you the time to realize,
That our love will never end.
You can say you love her,
You can even try.
Just remember late at night,
All I do is cry.
You said you really loved me,
And it would never end,
So I know one day you'll realize,
I can't just be your friend.
