I Know There's a Twinkle

I Know There's a Twinkle

I know There’s a Twinkle

I know in God’s eye there’s a twinkle

A child put it there

A tiny curious being in a infinite world, loving and free from care

To stop and smell the daisy

To marvel at a dandelion’s fluff

Take time to watch a child, you can never learn enough

Each day brings new found wonder

A slithery snail on the window pane

To enjoy a bucket of sand is to really feel each grain

The ripples in a breeze laden puddle

A smooth, flat, shiny rock

Listen to a child, really hear when they talk

A walk in a sunny green meadow

A butterfly’s wings in flight

The simple beauty of nature, brings a child such delight

I know in God’s eye there’s a twinkle

A child put it there

A curious being in an infinite world, Loving and free from care

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
