I use to love him

I use to love him

I use to love him
He was my perfection of man
But what made him change
I am not able to understand

He used to make me feel like a woman
Sexy, Bold, carefree
Now I feel desolate
A stranger from the real me

I am lost in limbo
Still strong and independent
But insure of love and trust
My heart is left dented

Trying to find love
But each time its not true
Didn't know how much damage
My first love could do.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
