If Only A Hint

If Only A Hint

If only a hint of pure, golden tinted, light
could penetrate the cold ebony walls of evil,
may there be peace.
Conflicting battles between these forces repeat,
through eons find it unresting to cease.
Tranquility to one might proceed after a smouldering firy battle,
to retain the security held on to with a choking grip,
or the sweet crisp aroma of the blossoming earth in the springtime,
may be ones fulfilling trip.
if only a hint of Love that turns on the pure gleaming light,
could touch the fortress of evil.
Then life may simmer away the tarnished bleakness,
and allow the shining harmony to caress all people.
