    IF ONLY

    Your quiet composure calms me
    That I admire
    Your intelligence and mystery
    I'm at peace
    When I'm around you
I feel like I'm at sea
    Yet your sense of humour
    Has me giddy
    Unfortunately
    For me
    You're not lonely
    Lucky woman
    Knowing if she falls
    She'll never know
    How tough ground feels
    Damn!
    If only?
    We'll have to agree
    To be friends who discuss
    The day, politics, rights
'cause this just would not be
    Right!
