I'm sorry that I hurt you,
I didnt mean what I said.
I know I said some horrible things,
they keep on running through my head.
Could you just forgive me?
If I could, I would take it all back.
I know that it will be hard,
but I don't hate you, please just know that.
I want you to know that you hurt me too,
you were always putting me down.
So try to see where I am coming from,
I just wanted to see if you'd really stick around.
I finally get that famous quote,
"You don't know what you've got til it's gone."
But I also knew it wouldn't work out,
I just wish it hadn't taken so long.
I know you think I didn't try,
but trust me, I really did.
You were too impossible,
you acted just like a kid.
So now maybe you understand,
why I did what I did.
Please be glad i'm sharing this now,
cause for so long in my heart it was hid.
