In a maze of uncertain things

In a maze of uncertain things

    Desire, thou art our vice
bring a tear to the eye you do
without wonder where have you gone?
without your kiss we are children

In a maze of uncertain things
    bellows this unconcious mind
flowers in the mist I dare
as words on an unspoken tongue

May your touch be our guide
    though only in a dream
a dead end you shall create
    and vanity you shall bring

    Oh ye bastard of grace
    set aside our differences
let us meet in the darkness
and shake hands on our knees

    Desire make us whole again
in a maze of uncertain things
bring us back to whom we were
    before sorrow sets us free
