    Smile

    A clear memory you see
    traces of happiness between
    each tooth is a dream
    pale lips set the scene

    Moments of levity
    making you breathe
    open up white angel
    tell me you need

    And when you close
    be not as a gleam
    in an eye instead be
    a fond memory

    Over bridges and stunnels
    gaps and streets
    sell your story and leave
    a smile for me

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
