    IN A WORD "HAW!"

She leaned her head discreetly on her hand.
"You know," whistfully quothe she, "right now I'm not thinking of a thing."
I vaguely saw her psyche floating in mid air!
I thought I saw a pear or the faint outline of an October squash hanging there.
"How could this feel?", thought I. "to lazily drift, with no obsessions, no reflections, not move?!"
"HAW!", laughed I and looked back at the floating harvest and her.
How could one so blank, endure such vast control?
