Discipline has long forgotten
these words and rhyme,
but with hard thought this
rotten verse could change,
in time.
Formulas for strong rendition
try to mask my lines,
but with hard head, less tradition,
these words can now be mine.
Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.
