    In His Eyes

    I look into his eyes
I see the sunset and sunrise.
He holds me in his arms
And will protect me from this storm.
    His words are sweet melodies
    Written on the seas.
    Afraid to close my eyes
    I look towards the sky
    Hope fills my soul
As I give love a go.
He puts his arms around my waist
Hoping this doesn’t end in haste
    His chin on my shoulder
    I feel like I’m climbing a boulder...
    He holds me tight
I turn and look in his eyes...
They are not filled with lies.
I sigh in relief as he stays,
This is not a dream I pray.
    I relax into his arms.
    And I know I won’t be harmed.

I love this, cool as can be, I like everything about it,

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
