    Innocence On A Dying Day

    Attention please,
    A moment of silence
    On this dying day
    The sweet innocent girl
With that sweet look on her face
    Will die from a heartache

    Smile if you will
    Just know,
    That when she returns
You'll be the one to be killed
    Pathetic as it may sound
    But that sweet look
    On the sweet innocent girl
Will sour just as a flower will wilt

    So attention please,
    A moment of silence
    On this dying day
    Because that girl
    Whose innocence you stole
    She's returning again
    Seeking revenge

Very enjoyable. Calling the reader to attention adds a grandiose flavor to it in a sense.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
