    insomnia

sleep is not an option for those who wait for dawn.
those who have guilt bearing down on their souls
they who wait for their lovers kiss
wait longer when sleep does not burden their eyes
the minutes the hours tick past as you sit waiting for the
first rays saying that a new day has begun
it gives you time to think
    could i have changed this?
would things be different if i had said yes?
the numbers lit up all in red
tell you its time to get up again.

    Another great write!

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
