    Poem Commentary

    I actually just typed this in an e-mail one day just to send to a particular person.

    Insomniac

    As I lay here unable to sleep,
    Everything moves slowly.
    My thoughts are blurred but my feelings are clear.
    Thinking...
    Meditating...
    Pondering...
    About You.
    Wondering are your dreaming about me.
    I'm sleepless and somewhat delusional.
    I'm such an Insomniac,
    For You, my Dear
    My Love.

    It's 2:59 a.m...almost late...almost out of time.
    Tossing and turning, you linger on my mind.
    I fear falling asleep because there's no guarantee I'll dream about you.
    So why sleep when I can just continue to think about you.
    How is it that my disease is also my cure?
    It's You, the One I adore.
    It always will be,
    There's no need to heal me.
    An Insomniac for you, is what I'll continue to be.

    fire love it "....I fear falling asleep because there's no guarantee I'll dream about you. So why sleep when I can just continue to think about you..." goood stuff

    Thanx so much...I wish I spent more time on it, but I was jus actually expressing my feelings n sent it thru an e-mail with no intention of even uploadin it..I tend 2 write best when something deeply inspires me, I think we all do..glad u liked it..the person it was intended 4 really liked it 2 8)lol...n gosh I haven't been on originalpoetry in a while! Or even written a poem since.

    Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
