    Instant Messengers

A mystery he is, this funny encounter
    a bit of a quiz you'd say
The curiosity that leaves his fingertips
is charming in a boyish way
Although at first glance of the riddles and chants
    that perspire onto her monitor
It appears that this character probes for clues
of skeletons in closets that bind her
But take a second glance between the rants
    of a very experienced actor
You shouldn't be surprised if common curiosity
    catches your eye thereafter
It may lead you to wonder what kind of blunder
is this character looking to find
It's the enticement of not knowing what else could be going
with the damsel he pursues at night
The very questions that lie in the minds
    of any creature that breathes
Desiring to know the critical foes
    of the objects they reveal
Tell me could you blame the passionate approach
to uncover the complexity she is
For this rendezvous of "tell me and I'll tell you"
is the nature of all that lives

THAT IS THE NATURE OF THINGS OR SO IT SEEMS. THE LAST I READ WAS THE FIRST I WROTE. HOPE NONE OF MY REMARKS OFFENDED YOU. I REALLY ENJOYED READING YOUR POETRY. YOU'VE GOT TALENT.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
