    Internal Demise
    Why does it feel like
    I’m dieing inside

    I fell like a frightened child
    With no where to hide

    My thoughts are racing
    Searching for the answer

    The thoughts themselves have
    Become my cancer

    Tearing, burning, and destroying
    Me emotionally

    Slowly breaking me down
    Damaging me subtlety

    Why is it that my heart
    Continues to bleed

    I fear the time is soon
    When it will cease to beat
