    Interruption of Nature

A tear in the earth leaves behind many questions
Who are we to look for answers or explanations
A tear in the earth gaping towards the sky
Beyond all reason a cause lay
A tear in the earth invisible spirits hover
The souls left behind all shudder
A tear in the earth born from envy and hate
Nations should come together not separate
A tear in the earth opened wounds that now create
Loss, sorrow and a shared fate
A tear in the earth no messengers to tell this tale
A sight for all to ponder, into the future they wail!
