    Invocation:

    Invocation:

    Holy Father; God above,
Who sacrificed His Son out of Love
For our sins, to set us free
So that we could worship the Trinity.
Make your will known to me,
That I may know how to serve thee.
Your Spirit shakes me to the bone
Goodness and Mercy are your's alone
Still, grant to me just the same
Faith, Hope, and Love, when I invoke your name.

    Jesus Christ: Author of Faith,
From the hand of the evil one, keep me safe.
Come into my heart and dine with me
And open my eyes that I may see thee.
Give to me for what you came
That I too may be called by your name.
Light my path along the way
With your love, lest my feet should stray.
Continue the work until it is done
That when my days are thru, we may become One.

    Holy Spirit; King of Life
Come to me to take away my strife.
Take from me my ugly sin
Change my by your Spirit from within.
Give to me the Spirit of Love
And the peace which comes from above.
Walk with me along the road
Leading erstwhile to your heavenly abode.
Let none take my joy away
Which comes from knowing you each n every day,

I enjoyed this poem very much. As I was reading it, I could feel your longing and despiration to be in the presence of God and your desire for Him to lead and guide your life. I too like writing inspirational poems.

Each day is one step closer to being with Jesus in Eternity.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.
