Irises Bleed...
An instant after I let you go,
My heart strains...beating hard,
Drawing ragged breaths,
Devoid of you, it desists survival,
Refuses existence!
I feel life fading away, leaving me,
Somewhere in the distance,
With alacrity!
Within my dreams,
Its you!
My hopes entangled,
With you!
My life incomplete,
Without you!
The moment you fade away,
Time stops, ceases to exist!
Irises bleed a slow death,
Colourless fluid, devoid of life,
A reflection of my soul,
Streams of memories, unending,
Collate in each drop!
Streams of memories, unending,
Collate in each drop!
Without you, a bleached existence,
I know I lead,
Drained away, all that I feel,
The lone survivor: a deafening vacuum!
In my heart!
A love beyond proportions,
Within me!
A hint of guilt,
Breeds in my soul,
For ever trying to let you go!
