Just one of those memories.

Just one of those memories.

It comes to me each morning and stays all day.
What could we have done differently, what could we have changed
We watched our love dying, but only a memory remains
Just one of those memories, that life won't let us forget
another of our failures, thats always present
just one of those memories, that won't go away
for whatever reason, it is here to stay.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
