Laze or Amaze?

Why sit around all day,
when you can get up and play,
the whole day away,
what do you say?

Why go to sleep,
when you can for a ride in a Jeep,
read about fascinating Little Bo Peep,
or go in the book of world records for the longest leap?

Isn't that better than being bored out of your mind,
but I find,
though I don't want to offend,
you should learn how to defend.

Karate is a great way to fight,
and you just might,
even though you have a limited amount of sight,
that fighting can have a diffrent kind of light.

We do all tihs to have fun,
not to hurt our buns,
but to see the sun,
so we can feel like we have won.

How you may ask,
that is a simple task,
you don't need trophies or medals of fancy jeweled flasks,
but having fun in the sun that you bask.

thanks =D

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
