Letter to bush/Pointless war

His mothers hear is torn as she watches him out the door.
He's being sent away to fight another man's war.
She's worried that she wont ever see him no more.
They both cry, their tears just pour and pour

Now what would you do if you were in their shoes?
He's not her only son so he didn't get to choose.
What to do besides cry and feel blue?
Being shipped away to be used and abused.

Instead of handling things like an adult you jump right to the situation with assault.
Having people being killed for someone Else's fault.
Firing missiles and bombs on catapults.
Rockets emergency missiles and pistles keep getting launched.

You smile at what you've done but you don't realize.
With every bomb or gunshot an innocent person dies.
Bloody, cold, and still their fragile body lies.
Loved ones hear the news and begin to feel paralyzed.

Now you have to face things you wished you could avoid.
After killing a happy newborn baby boy.
Just sitting at home his parents hear a loud noise.
The next thing they see is their dead son and bloody toys.

You're killing families and breaking many hearts.
Who even remembers how this whole thing start?
Just be a man and have your troops depart.
Before the world turns cold, lonely, and dark

not all true, but nice. i can relate

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
