    LIES

It seems truth no longer exists.
I could feel the lies in his kiss.
Smokey gray our love had become.
    His heart belonged to someone
    That someone wasn't me.

On the times that he held me
I could feel minutes start to flee
Knowing soon he'd be leaving me
    The LIE started to grow
Taking on a life of it's own
Leaving me empty and all alone

    That one last last kiss
    Was all it took
    For the final chapter
To be written in our book
How I longed for one last look
    Our love  ended.
