    LOSE

    AS I STARED AT YOUR PALE FACE
    I REALIZE YOU I CAN NOT REPLACE

    THEN YOU SPOKE THOSE LAST WORDS AND SAID NO MORE
    TEARS FELL SILENTLY DOWN TO THE FLOOR

    I TURNED AND WALKED AWAY AS I BEGAN TO CRY
    THEN I TOOK A LOOK INTO THE SKY

    THE STARS SEEMED TO SHINE BRIGHTER THAN EVER
    AND SLOWLY FADEDTO WHAT SEEMED FOREVER

    I ASKED MYSELF WHY YOU HAD TO GO
    WHY DID IT HAVE TO HAPPEN TO THE ONE I LOVE SO

    we all face the loss of loved ones at sometime in our life. I"m glad you were able to write your feelings down in the form of a poem. It is good self therapy, I know i do it all the time. Great poem dear. Doug
