    Loss Of Innocence

Red rose petals upon the bed is what I see
From afar I hear you whispering my name
Instantly you were by my side and surrounded me with your warm embrace
You held my hands and pressed it against your heart
And said “baby you are the only one I want”
Gently my lips became one with yours
And together we achieved control of true love
My dreams were a mere fantasy,
Awaiting the moment you captured my heart, I felt pure enchantment
As we were encircled in the essence of love feeling perfect,
My body no longer resisted your stroke
Lying next to you I cherished your tender touch
I slowly began to quiver, my body felt as though I was making love to my soul mate
You handled my innocence with complete worship
As the flames of the candle began to flicker
I looked into his eyes and held him closer assured him
I’ll always be his best friend but most of all a faith lover

very well written, true and unconditional love

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
