    Lost Obvious

    Complacent waiting in evanesence
not my body, but my mind
    helpless instead of hopeful
lets it go to fade in time.

    Kamikazee superhero
holds tightly his one true love
a tug of war with no matter what
    he anticipates above.

Thick fog falls from charcoal skies
sprinkled with hope, I think it is...
    guiding lights in every way
    heaven to me, lost obvious.

Explosions of trust consume his thoughts
as the road to death draws near
he finds his way through his North Star
in his arms for all these years.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
