Love Me
love me in my perfect flaws
love me in all my imperfections
love me when I get on your nerves
love me when I don't do what you tell me to do
love me when I betray you
love me when I reject you
Why should I love you this way you ask
Why not
God loves us like that everyday
that is the way I seek to love as I pray
for you and for me

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
