    Love

    10-15-03
“A man falls in love with his eyes,
a woman falls in love through her ears.”
    – Woodrow Wyatt
Speak to me, make me feel my world through words.  Help me
to laugh at both of us.  Tell me sweetness, let your heart talk.
Don’t think, don’t measure, don’t be fearful… speak to me.
Words can warm a room, brighten the light, touch my heart
and make it skip a beat.  We hold those words too close, not
opening them up… giving them wings to fill our lives.

A nice interpretation of the quote. As poets we are atuned to the senses, to show these with impact rather than tell these with description is a mastered form... Paticularly liked the 'skip', and 'wings' ending. Kindest thoughts, Anna-Marie.
