    Miracles

    (Dedicated to my wife Ellen)

    Yes, I believe in Miracles
    They happen every day.
You don't have to be a millionaire
for one to come your way.
Well, God sent me an ANGEL.
I took her for my wife.
She shared with me the good times,
And Helped see me through my strife.

She gave me three fine children,
Who think that I'm the greatest pop of all.
If I ever needed them, they're at my beckon call.
Yes, you can take your richness.
Just leave me as I am.
For there is one thing I know for sure -
    I am a lucky man.

    SHe has stood beside me
    through thick and thin;
    for I was her man
right up to the very end.
There were days that I did not know
    how we would make it
because of all the things I have done -
    being such a fool.

But because of all her love
the good Lord seen me through.
And that is why I believe in Miracles...
you see, one happened to me,
when God sent me this angel
    to watch out over me.

What a beautiful lady you are married to.....and you are such a wonderful man.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
