Poem Commentary

I can never convey the woman my mother was when she passed there where 300 people there to mourn and with out her i felt somehow all alone

Missing you

I thought i heard  your voice today
 I stood ever so still
I looked for you every where
I swear i smelled your favorite soup today
but I lost it in the air
I saw you just the other day
your lovly hair
But when I called out she turned to stare
I think she saw the grief my heart did bare
For she simpley smiled and walked the other way
You've been gone for it seams ever and a day
I make a plan to go and see you
But never follow threw
I know your not really there
Time moves on
They tell me so to will my pain
That soon i will start to forget
But years have passed and i still miss you yet
Yours a lasting memory i never can forget
You made me the woman I am
I never had to wonder at the miracle that is love
For you seeped it from every single pore
And for that i thank you
For i know when i am loved

True unconditional love is priceless. You are so blessed to have been loved so. Not all mothers can show it. Write on...........Tlady

I love this, what a beautiful heartfelt write and tribute to your mom. She is with you precious, after all you are her legacy. Peace, Love and Light.

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.
