    MOM

Mom your memory is like a rose.
    Your love is a rose.
Your sweet smile runs like the wind.
    Never hardly ending.
I love you and miss you.
    I wish you were here.
I don’t need all of the
    Expensive things that I have.
All I need is you, Grandma and Andy.
At times I really wish you
Were here for some bad times.
Those bad times I know that
    You would help me through
    Them and I know that
    You would help me though
    Anything.
I just wish you were here. I know things would
Be much better than what they
    Are now.
Dad would still be just as he is,
But hopefully a little bit better.
I know things were fun with you
Things are still fun, but not as
Fun as when you were around.
The day that you died as the second
    Worse day of my life.
    Grandma, Andy and me wish
You were here more and more
    Each day.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
