    Mommy Dear

I sit here sad by your side.
My tears that I shed I cannot hide.
I hope for you your pain will end.
My heart will ache, I'll miss my friend.
The one who took my hand and cried.
The day I walked with all my pride.
I promise this to you this day.
I'll make you proud, I'll find my way.
Don't worry about me and go into the light.
    Mommy dear please don't fight.
Go be with God as you should be.
He wants you there your soul is free.
I love you always and you know this.
I'll see you again in heavenly bliss.
