    MORE THAN A FRIEND

Thank you for being with me, In my time of need,                                             For there is more to friendship, Than most people will ever see,                      You held my hand and walked with me, When no one else did care,                You laughed with me and cried with me, Only you were there,                      Only you and your brother, Told me happy birthday,                                        Not my mother, sister or brother, Tried to call or text all day,                          You gave me something priceless,
That no one else could give,                                      You spent the day with me,
And showed me how to live,                                      You wiped away my tears,
And said everything will be alright,                          You took away my troubles,
When you kissed me goodnight,                                You told me something special,
That only you could do,                                             You said these words with meaning,
When you said         I LOVE YOU.....
