    Mother's Day

    Magic's in her touch and eyes.
    It's evident my momma tries
    To make my every wish come true;
    She compliments the good I do.

    She's always there when needed most;
    Yes, I'm the child my momma boast.

    Together we have weathered storms,
    Accepting life with opened arms.

    She makes my world more hassle-free,
    Omitting not my thoughts nor me.

    Although we're many miles apart,
    My mom and I are close at heart.

    There will never be just one day
    To send a card a gift to say
    "I love you," 'cause
    Every day is my "Mother's Day" to me.
