    My Alphabet Street

Let's take a ride down my alphabet street....
Tell me all the alphabets your eyes can see...
Don't be afraid to stop and take a peek....
Don't be surprise if the outcome makes you weak...
You see, love left me hanging, my heart in the sheets....
Naive to the game, giving the booty like a piece of meat...
All the infinite possiblilities I thought that we would reach...
Liberating my once imprisoned love inverting it to a halting screech...
Our sensual exhanges created an ebb and flow that I felt within...
Only to have you respond "This is now, and that was then"...
My alphabets were scrambled only to form words that hurt like
"No, don't want, can't see 'us' anymore, but don't worry because you never know what the future stores"
My alphabets began to form words of hate like "Fuck you nigga, it ain't that type of game....Shit happens and it happens everyday...I can give a good got damn if you ass leaves or stay"
Then my alphabets began to maneuver and made me face reality of what my heart actually felt...like pain, hurt and so much despair....
My alphabet street holds so many emotions far more than your eyes can see...All doors lock nigga without a key.....so guess what.....your ass better get use to the new me

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
