My Amazing Journey

As into the world I entered that day, normal is what i would have to say.
Changes came quickly as the years did go, as well as the world I would no longer know.
Tongues fly though I knew not why.
Battling demons on the rise, blessed I was with Angels so wise.
As I was led on a path of love and peace, I knew a better me was now in reach.
The journey though long and hard, my spirit was rarely marred.
As strength within took over the fear, I knew my peace was very near.
I awoke one morning feeling oh so free, I got to welcome a brand new me.
Though thoughts linger deep within, I know my demons can no longer win.
Ajourney long and hard, amazing by far, took the world I knew longer knew and gave me a brand new one to view.
With wings I now soar as deep in my heart special memories I store.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
