    My Destiny

My heart sits beating in the palm of your hand,
Never to belong to another man.
Oh how long I've waited to be held in your arms,
And be flattered and tickled by your witty charms.
Spending all these years with you around,
Always had me floating right off of the ground.
Although you may not have been able to see,
I always knew you were the one for me.
All the fun we have, all the smiles we share,
No other relationship can ever compare.
You are the man who will always have my heart,
And I know, no matter what happens, we will never be apart.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
