    My Friend

Strolling through the park, the sunlight caresses her lovely face, I look into her eyes and I lose all sense of time and space, lost in a moment I hope will never end, and I think to myself, I’m so glad that she’s my friend : Her accent drives me crazy, that sweet sultry voice, We would be one forever and ever, if I had my choice, And I think this thought, again and again, I truly am glad that she’s my friend : A calming presence, warm and serene; beauty, with a personality that’s rarely seen, A killer smile or that little girl grin, so glad, so glad she is my friend : She stirs loves’ cauldron deep within my heart, Funny and sincere, silly and smart, and as I bring this short poem to its’ inevitable end, I’ll always be glad, That She is My Friend.

If only everyones friends truely loved one another there would be better friendships and relationships in this world.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
