    My heart still ticks

I walk fast, but not so fast
Now I wish I could make time for you and I
I stare at the watch you gave me—to think it still last
The hands point to night, I look outside, and it still shines!

With all these feelings, I think I’m getting sick
    Yet the clock still beats
I hope you and I meet
    Cause my heart still ticks…

Tick—every second passing by pushes us away, and I worry.
Tock—I could hear my heart beat out all the ‘ifs’
Tick-Tock—I walk too fast, not so fast, but I’m always in a hurry
Just then, I stop to think, ‘Maybe it’s time I live…’

Although the watch you gave me makes me sick
I hope you and I meet again
    Cause my heart still ticks…

Maybe it’s time, I make some time, to live…
