My Love
For me, the sun didn’t set and flowers didn’t bloom till I met you…
Many of years we lived in happiness, never needing anything more,
You’re all I ever wanted for richer or poor…
We were young and in love and became one as we got older,
The days without you have grown dark and colder.
Our Loving memories fill my broken heart,
Being here without you is tearing me apart.
Wait for me my love, as I lay here tonight and dream you,
Days spent with the family, laughing like we use too…
I close my eyes tightly and think of the day I can hold her,
I can hear the music now- grab my hand and put your head on my shoulder.
When once again we can dance all nite,
I know soon everything will be all right…
