    Protecting the heart
    Is it better to push them away and not let them in,
    Or look for good and pass there sin?

    I can still remember picking up the pieces off the floor,
    Promising never to trust anymore.

    Dragging along that promise I made back then,
    Never letting them mean more then a friend.

    I pray to believe in love again,
    Even if that means unlocking my heart and letting them in…
