    MY MOM

THIS GOSE OUT TO MY MOM WHO IS THE WORLD TO ME,
I STAND STRONG IN LOVE CAUSE SHE TAUGHT ME TO BE ALL I CANBE,
    WHEN I WAS BAD,
SHEWAS STILL THEIR EVEN WHEN I MADE HER SAD,
SO WHEN MOTHERS DAY OR VALENTINES COME I`LL ALWAYS HOLD YOU ABOVE,
CAUSE I ALWAYS WANT TO SHOW YOU LOVE,
YOU ARE THE ONE WHO HAS ALWAYS STOOD BY MYSIDE,
EVEN IF I HAVE TO RUN TO YOU AND HIDE,
THATS WHY NO ONE CAN EVER TAKE YOUR PLACE,
CAUSE YOU`VE ALREADY WON THE RACE,
YOU HAD MY HEART WHEN I WAS BORN,
THAT CAN NEVER BE USED THROWN AWAY OR EVEN WORN,
SOSMILE ANDBE HAPPY AND LETS ENJOY LIFE,
REMEMBER IM YOUR SON AND WE ARE ALREADY MARRIED LIKE HUSBAN AND WIFE,
    AND THATS A BOND FOREVER.

Nice sentiments but hard reading this one because of words running together and spelling errors such as gose instead of goes, husban instead of husband. Also, watch using words inappropriately such as their which is possesisve instead of there. There should be abbreviation in conjunctions use let's instead of lets and that's instead of thats. Although it seems evident to me the high regard you have for your mother you may want to rethink using "We are already married like husband and wife " Someone was reading over my shoulder and said ugh that's creepy. People shouldn't read over people's shoulders but since they did I had to consider if what they were saying had any merit. I don't mean to sound like I am picking on you but someone did the same for me and it helped. To this day I still make errors and appreciate the corrections of my fellow writers. Very few of us are perfect. There were fine emotions and sentiments expressed in this poem and your Mom deserves praise for raising such a caring child.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
